Abstract
Women today along with the house-hold responsibility also assist in the house-hold economic affair. In this parity scenario women are also significantly contributing in several sectors like agriculture, cattle-breeding, fishery, industrial and construction. International Labour Organization has forcibly applied various circulars and recommendations on member countries. Till so many circulars and recommendations are acknowledged among which most of them are accepted by Government of India, which leads many complications and disputes of women-labourers like working hours, work-conditions, wages, types & natures of job etc? Present paper focuses on such complications faced by women-labourers migrated from rural area serving Infrastructure Sector in Vadodara city. Several issues related to health, job stress, injuries at work place, wages provided, facilities, etc. are the major concern of the research. Moreover, appropriate recommendations are also provided for the same.
