Abstract
Special education of children with intellectual disability has been the focus of imparting training to these children by specially qualified special educators. One of the most important component of rendering special education is the Functional Academics which incorporates the teaching of basic literacy skills, numeric skills, and mathematical skills to carry out their day to day living independently as far as possible. The present study reading skills to children with intellectual disability of various levels that is Primary, Secondary, Prevocational and Vocational levels. The results indicated that children with intellectual disabilities of Vocational level have shown better improvement in comparison to other levels. The details of the results are given in the research paper.
