Abstract
The integration of technology in modern classrooms has redefined the educational landscape, offering dynamic opportunities to enhance teaching and learning experiences. This review paper explores the evolving role of digital tools, platforms, and pedagogical innovations in contemporary education systems. It critically examines the impact of technologies such as smartboards, learning management systems (LMS), virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), artificial intelligence (AI), and mobile learning applications on student engagement, personalized learning, and academic performance. Furthermore, the paper discusses the challenges associated with digital equity, teacher training, data privacy, and the digital divide. Drawing from a comprehensive range of recent studies, the review synthesizes evidence on best practices, implementation strategies, and policy considerations essential for effective technology integration. The findings underscore the need for a balanced, inclusive, and pedagogically sound approach to leveraging technology in education, ensuring it supports rather than supplants traditional methods.
