Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted traditional education systems around the globe, including physical education (PE) in India. This paper delves into the challenges encountered and the innovations that emerged in online PE from 2019 to 2021 within the Indian context. By utilizing real-time data and case studies, it investigates the transition to virtual platforms, the influence of technology, and the adjustments made by educators and students to maintain engagement in physical activity. The findings underscore the resilience and creativity displayed by the education sector in India, while also pinpointing areas for future enhancement in the integration of digital tools into physical education.
