Abstract
The paper analysed the financial performance of the pharmaceutical industry during pandemic times. Analysing from the previous year, net working capital requirement didn’t change much. Liquidity positions of the companies are also improved during pandemic times. one of the reasons that can be drawn is due to an increase in the supply of medicines. This has also led to increase in the profitability of the companies. However, this performance can also be extraordinary and situation specific. such performance will be hard to repeat when situations get normalized.
