Abstract

The cerebral capacities of human beings have long been a focal point of psychological and anthropological exploration. Throughout the course of evolution, humans have developed multiple measurable intelligences. However, a deeper, reflective intelligence integral to human existence has often remained on the periphery of empirical study. As humanity enters a high-tech era dominated by Artificial Intelligence, there is a natural, compensatory surge toward exploring the inner core of human consciousness. Drawing upon Eastern philosophical frameworks, specifically the Bhagavad Gita’s assertion that spirituality is the core nature of a human being (Akshar brahma param swabhavo), this paper investigates the dual nature of Spiritual Intelligence (SQ). It posits that while SQ is innate, it is not a fixed trait; rather, it is a capacity that can be obscured by external factors and evolved through stimulating environments. Utilizing a sample of 100 participants, this study projects that the progression of SQ is quantitatively visible through markers such as existential thinking, universal interconnectedness, high resilience, and acceptance. The findings suggest that spiritual intelligence, though fundamentally rooted in existence, blooms optimally within cultivated environments.
