Abstract

An attempt has been made in this paper to assess the level of happiness of Rural women who are left behind due to male labour circulation at Sitalkutchi block in Cooch Behar district, West Bengal. To measure happiness, Gross National Happiness Index (GNH Index) has been calculated.
