Self Esteem among Hindu and Muslim College Students

Abstract

Hypotheses: I) There will be no difference in Self-Esteem among Hindu and Muslim college students. And II) The Boys will have higher level of Self-Esteem comparison to Girls. Participants: Sample of the present study consisted of Hindu and Muslim respondents studying in class 12 of Ranchi city. The sample split of 120 students from adolescents 60 boys and 60 girls. Instruments: Self-Esteem Inventory was developed by Prasad and Thakur (1977) was administered to the selected sample to assess their Self Esteem. Result: Hindu and Muslim college students showed almost similar level of self esteem. Boys and girls exhibited almost same self esteem.
