Abstract

Activity-based learning (ABL) is a successful teaching model in the field of education, and it has recently found its way to business schools. At its core, this approach provides a way to integrate learning within students’ knowledge, and, by exposing them to a variety of activities, helps them learn how to learn. Due to the high degree of interaction in ABL, essential instructor skills involve facilitating, motivating, enabling and coaching rather than simply presenting facts and figures didactically.
